Can’t get the lids off of the cup

Can’t get the lids off of the cup. I can’t use them

The lid

I love everything about this cup except for the lid. The lid is hard to get off.

Lid design needs to be fixed

I bought a whole set of the party tumblers to replace all my old cups and love them, but the lids are an awful design and so hard to remove. There needs to be a lip or something to be able to get them off. I may have to order the old replacements lids to be functional for me.
