I was so excited to get one of these to use with my 12oz Sugar Skulls slim tumbler, and it worked great at first. But I noticed that water had somehow gotten trapped in it and I can't get the water to shake out no matter what I do. I'm afraid if I keep using it, I might get sick from it harboring bacteria. :(
The new Swig Life caps are great!
I bought this top to go with an older bottle that i had (3 ish years old) as the original bottle only came with a screw top and it was driving me a little crazy. When i first put this new top on i found it incredibly difficult to suck the water. It was almost straining my jaw. (I recently lost a water bottle so was excited to get a new top with a straw and didn't want to have to send it back.) Anyway i looked and the straw is just too long for this bottle so i had to snip 1/2cm off the end of the straw and it now works perfectly.
